Here’s a report from Shelby Creagh. Thanks to Keren for the photos.“The flex is very subtle but there is an over all sense of liveliness to the board. Hanging ten on the pig really stalls the board right in the pocket, which is where i feel the greatest flex. Also, really fun on critical, super late take offs. love it!” Shelby
Here’s my neighbor Tom with Steve Pezman at the Sacred Craft “Antiques Road Show” yesterday. Tom brought a very very cheap Hollywood Beach garage find with him. A balsa Yater pig from the late 50’s
This is about as rare as it gets.
It’s the “Renny Show” at the Ventura Fairgrounds this weekend and everyone turned out to honor the master in grand fashion.
This was a great event last weekend at Santa Monica Airport and we were happy to be part of it. We weren’t selling anything, just showing some auction boards, the new Blackboard, vintage SHF boards, and giving away some calendars. A model working for another vendor even slipped in and posed with the boards, pin-up style. Anybody that has photos of INSPIRATION send them to gene.cooper@gmail.com and we’ll post them here.
