My old Bing Collection

I found this proof sheet of some photos I shot of the Bing’s I owned from around 1995. The reason we got the boards out was because original shaper Dan Bendikson was coming over to pull some templates. He and Bing we’re gearing up to make the first generation of DNLW reproductions. On the scene was my neighbor and former Jacobs team member Alf Laws who ended up posing with the boards for the photo. There’s a couple of yellow Nosedevil prototypes snuck in there also.
I had lots of fun collecting and riding these boards, I paid between 300 and 500 for each. I used to take 4 or 5 of them to the Sano contest every year and loan them out to ride. Me, Alf, David, Bing, Jim Hogan, Chris Vail and others rode them. I sold them off when the collecting boom hit in the late 90’s. I’m now a “reluctant collector” but I still pick up some cool stuff here and there.
