I’m very proud to have a board included in the California Gold Auction along with all of the incredible vintage boards and art. I’ve purchaced my tickets to the event and am really looking forward to May 11th. I’ve received a lot of inquiries about event tickets, how to bid, and especially online bidding. Here’s some links:
If you have any questions or would like to meet up at the event then give me a call at (805) 216-8232 or email me at gene.cooper@gmail.com
This iconic Munoz shaped Flippy Hoffman Board is my favorite in the auction. I can’t believe it’s on the block.

Hope to see you there!
A custom built shipping crate for the November Board
The board’s going to an anonymous buyer in a country where I’m sure they rarely see surfboards. Every effort was made to ensure that the inspectors had easy access to minimize the chance of damage

Thanks to Shogo Terada for putting together this video that shows our Sacred Craft/San Diego experience highlighting the building and displaying of Big C2 Gun. This was my first trip to Downtown SD and was a great experience. Thanks to my show companions Brian Michler of Cooperdesigns for pulling it all together and Craig Stecyk for sharing insight and his wealth of knowledge with us throughout the event. And it was a great time catching up with friends and customers. The work that went into displaying boards at this show was worth every drop of sweat.

This was a great event last weekend at Santa Monica Airport and we were happy to be part of it. We weren’t selling anything, just showing some auction boards, the new Blackboard, vintage SHF boards, and giving away some calendars. A model working for another vendor even slipped in and posed with the boards, pin-up style. Anybody that has photos of INSPIRATION send them to gene.cooper@gmail.com and we’ll post them here.

A sad day for the surfing community. Legendary Surfboard Builder/Historian/Storyteller and all around great guy Mike Marshall passed away on Saturday in Costa Mesa. We send our best to his wife Sharon, his family, and his circle of friends.
Mike loved to pass on stories of surfings hay day and his enthusiasm for both our sport and the craft was infectious. Thanks for sharing with us Mike.
