Saturday Dec 12th. Jazz the Glass @ Hurley HQ

Hurley is hosting our premier this Saturday Dec 12th 2009. This flyer says 2010. CLASSIC! We hope to see you all there. We are going to start the film around 8 even though the first flyer we pushed said 9. There will be free beer (thanks PRIMO!) and free gruel (thanks Gradoux) . There will be a board raffle (thank you 12th floor and Nation Surfboards). The prototype for the  COOPERFISH BLACKBOARD will be there for interested people to check out. I can’t wait to SHRED that! Steve Brom mentioned he might be bringing some insane false old boards to be displayed. We will have Jazz the Glass T-shirts and INVASION! from planet C dvd’s for sale. We will have a few SLIDE magazines to be raffled off as well! Jazz the Glass DVDs will be replicated soon.  ITS GOING TO BE SSSSIIICCCKKK!!!!

SILENT AUCTION ITEMS – Oct 3, 2009 at the Cooperfish Calendar Party.   We’re doing this small silent auction to bring a little more action and fun the event.  I don’t expect we’ll be getting top dollar for these items due to the relatively small amount of people attending.  This auction is ”no reserve” so 3 new Cooperfishes(one’s a pretty special Calendar Board) are going out the door along with some cool riders(nothing too fancy) and really really cool ladies vintage wetsuits.

A few of these items look like garage sale treasures.  I expect there will be some good deals here.  Come to the party and place your bid!

Lot 1 -  9′1″ x 22″x 3 3/4″ C2 Logoless. This is the  only actual Calendar Board in the silent auction.  The other 12 Calendar Boards will be auctioned throughout the year on Ebay.

Lot 4 – 7′7″ C2 R&D “fin bump” board.  Being auctioned from under my feet.

Lot 5 – Vintage 10′ Con pintail.  One of the two best riding vintage board I’ve ever owned.  Totally repaired and strengthened Cooperfish style(no weight added in restoration).

Lot 6 – Early ’60s Tom Morey “Australian Surf Shop”.  Pintail Pig design with orig (pin)fin boxes at both ends!!  Unrestored condition. Needs care but it’s very solid, no delams. No fin. Pretty damn  rare.

Lot 7 – Pre ’50s Paddleboard. Unrestored. OK condition.

Lot 8 - Claudia’s vintage  green floral wetsuit.  Claudia Verela’s wearing this one in the calendar.
