Burl Swirl revisited

Transparent Sienna. Trans resin panels.  Directionally sanded satin finish.

Tadashi emailed me in April and bought this 7′ SpeedHull.  We personally delivered it to him in Japan!

Here’s an early concept for the June Calendar shot 4/09. These resin pillars that I accumulated might have been cool mixing with all the resin work on the surfboards, but our deadline for cleaning and polishing them passed us by.  We ended up using Paul Curtin’s “super volan” 8′6 Hornet that was in the shop waiting for pickup.
