The board’s going to an anonymous buyer in a country where I’m sure they rarely see surfboards. Every effort was made to ensure that the inspectors had easy access to minimize the chance of damage

Back in September Lompocian Jeff Edman picked up the Calendar Board that he won, then circled back a few weeks later and grabbed the Balsa Blackboard that I had hanging in the factory.  WooHoo!

October Calendar Board winner Brady Gunther picking up his board at the Surfing Heritage Museum at South Coast Plaza.  The 12 boards were all in one place back in January and now there scattered all over the world, pretty cool.  Ten down and 2 to go, congrats Brady.

On the left are the November and December boards staged for auction.
